When my grandma gave me an old Polaroid camera, I started using it to snap things around me, and quickly became interested in the striking images I could capture by zeroing in on the color, shape, and texture of familiar sights. Years later, and switching over to digital, I’m still on the hunt for “found” images and unintentional art waiting to be spotted wherever I go.
Recently, I’ve been drawn to the fleeting nature of urban graffiti removal. It’s fascinating to discover and capture accidental art created out of the process of covering up someone else’s art.
